Changing Enrolment Status

It is our understanding that students will normally be recorded as Single or Guest – Dual Registration should normally only be used where the student is subject to a managed move.

Please be careful when messing with the enrolment status of students and note that Attendance will be lost if status is changed from Single Registration to Guest as this status doesn't require attendance.

Student enrolled as Single Registration, but should have been enrolled as Dual Registration

1)    If it is today that the enrolment status should change - do this in Routines > Student > Change Enrolment Status.

2)    If the enrolment status should have been changed in the past, then you'll need to do the following:

a.     Make sure the Source school is entered in Other Schools.

b.     Change the students Enrolment Status

c.     Routines > Student > Change Enrolment Status

d.     Select required status change

e.     In Student Details panel 2. Registration - Change Admission Date to match start date of the new Enrolment status

f.      In panel 11. School History - Enter manual entry to cover the period of the student’s previous enrolment status.

Student recorded as Guest but should be Single registration

Routines > Student > Change Enrolment Status

1)    Search for, highlight and then open the pupil record required and go to Panel 2 - Registration

2)    Change the Enrolment Status as required then click Save

NOTE:

The route will only bring up students that have entered the school in the current academic year. Students that have been On-Roll in a previous academic year will NOT appear in this browse. If this is the case, you will need to give the student a leaving date, in the previous academic year, and then re-admit them with a new Admission Date in the current academic year.
