Ensure that the account used has domain admin rights to install on the specified workstation
Ensure that the account used does not have special characters in the associated password.
- Special characters (such as $, £, # or %) are not compatible with SOLUS 3. If this is the case, please reset the password for this account.
Ensure that the workstation is a member of the same domain for the administrative account being used.
- Please navigate to:
Start > Control Panel > System and Security > System
Then please look under the heading “Computer name, domain and workgroup settings”.
Compare the value under the “Domain” or “Workgroup” items.
Ensure that the username is entered in the "domain\username" format, rather than just the username.
- When prompted to enter your password, you will need to enter the full domain that the account is authenticated against, otherwise, it will be assumed to be a local account. This will not work for network authentication.
