Introduction

From September 2025, Pearson Education Limited (Pearson) has provided the Test Operations Service, which supports the adminstration of national curriculum assessments on behalf of STA. Your LA or MAT may have arrangements in place to collect and submit key stage data on your behalf and schools should refer to local guidance where such arrangements exist.

As a result it is expected that data entry will be directly to the portal for all assessments other than Early Years Foundation Profile and not to their MIS.

It is, however, important that the data is imported to your MIS so that it may be used for reporting to parents, supporting school an MAT level analyses and can be passed on with other key data via CTF as the pupil leaves your school.
