Introduction

From September 2025, Pearson Education Limited (Pearson) will provide the Test Operations Service, supporting national curriculum assessments on behalf of STA. This service will provide a route by which data will be submitted. Your LA may however have arrangements in place to collect and submit key stage data on behalf of the school and schools should refer to local guidance where such arrangements exist.

As a result it is expected that schools will enter most key stage data directly to the Test Operations Service and not to their MIS.

It is, however, important that the data is imported to your MIS so that it may be used for reporting to parents, analysis and can be passed on with other key data via CTF as the pupil leaves your school.
