These resources are downloaded as zip files - these need to be extracted to import to SIMS

Each contains assessment templates (Routines > Data In > Assessment > Import) and a Report Definition (Reports > Import) for import to SIMS.

EYFS

What do I need to do?

Using the EYFS 2017 wizard, open the GLD template and calculate and save the Good Level of Development.

Run the report "CAS Good Level of Development" from the Student focus to generate the output - note that you need to select the result set using the drop down.

KS1

What do I need to do?

  1. Create a Y3 Marksheet from the template CAS KS1 Attainment Overview 2017 (Focus / Assessment/ Templates)
  2. Open the mark sheet and click Calculate and Save
  3. Run the Report Definition (Reports / Run report/ Focus - Student ) CAS KS1 Key Groups Overview 2017
  4. The output report will then display analysis results for KS1 attainment for all key groups. An example of the attainment report is shown below.

KS2

  1. Create Marksheets for Year 6 pupils from the templates CAS KS1 APS Calculator 2017 and CAS KS2 Attain and Progress Tests 2017 (Focus / Assessment/ Templates)
  2. Open the Marksheet CAS KS1 APS Calculator 2016 and click calculate and save
  3. Open the Marksheet CAS KS2 Attain and Progress Tests 2016 and click calculate and save
  4. Run the report definition (Reports / Run report/ Focus - Student ) CAS KS2 Key Groups Overview 2016
  5. The output report will then display analysis results for KS2 attainment and KS1 - KS2 progress for key groups. An example of the attainment report is shown below.

EYFS, KS1 and KS2 Discover Graphs

You can download the latest version of the graphs from the link above and import them using the Discover Configuration Utility.
