FMS is moving online

It is a condition of schools’ licensing that they start to make use of the next generation of FMS (known as FMS as opposed to the current version known as FMS 6) before the end of this calendar year.

All schools using FMS will be contacted directly by Parent Pay in the coming weeks to confirm arrangements to make the move to the new system during June / July 2026.

Schools should rest assured that the move will simply move all data to the new environment and that the transition will result in no more than a day’s down time.

Apart from some reports (which are still being worked on), all FMS 6 functionality is replicated in the new software.

OSMIS will be on hand to deliver a range of resources to help to support and coordinate the move closer to the time but if schools would like to take an early look at the new system, they can review information here and can view the short demonstration video here.
