Webinar - Colleagues unable to attend the face to face training session can access critical content on a one hour webinar on Tuesday 23rd July at 10am which will deal with the main aspects required for a successful results day. Remote Support Sessions - Often Colleagues would like a SIMS expert to review their configuration to assure that all is in place and ready for the download of results. On this one hour session we will remote on to your system. review key elements and provide advice to help to ensure that download day goes as smoothly as possible. Which version of SIMS do I need to be on?
Schools making use of SIMS to analyse and report on qualifications data need to apply the Summer update (version 7.188) prior to the download of results. The Summer release is scheduled to be made available after 5th July 2019. Whilst the summer update delivers other improvements, schools not making use of PI functionality in SIMS do not need to apply the update.
Are there any patches I might need to apply?
Capita continue to release patches to correct issues which boards may refer to. Whilst the requirement for the patches will vary from school to school, we have authorised all patches listed here for application in schools.
Support on Download Days
The OSMIS support desk will be staffed from 7:30 on 14th and 21st August. Schools are asked to mail the desk on firstname.lastname@example.org with details of any issue and to supply a direct dial contact number – we will call back within the hour.
